Therapist

Hi Lucy, nice to meet you.

Patient

Hi.

Therapist

So I understand that you were referred here by your GP because you've been feeling quite down recently.

Patient

Yeah, I thought I should, I've been feeling quite bad for quite a while.

Patient

So I thought maybe it's time to see someone about it because I don't want to feel like this anymore.

Therapist

Okay, so from your notes I saw that you saw the GP about three months ago.

Illustrative POC content. AI-generated observations and treatment suggestions require clinician review.

From conversation to context

Support for the work around a session.

Keep the therapist–client conversation, its emotional context and your clinical review together in one private desktop workspace.

01

Record or import

Capture a session through your microphone or bring in an existing audio recording. Keep the recording connected to its patient and session details.

02

Transcribe in English

Turn spoken English into a readable conversation. Search the transcript, switch between reading layouts and copy the text for review.

03

Know who said what

Detect different speakers and assign therapist and patient labels. Review and correct the roles before interpreting patient-specific analysis.

04

Explore emotional patterns

See a mood distribution, category breakdown and emotion timeline derived from patient speech. Use them as prompts for review, with the transcript as context.

05

Start with a structured draft

Generate a session narrative with key themes, clinical observations, cognitive patterns and treatment progress. Review the draft against the conversation.

06

Review possible next steps

Bring suggested action items and homework into your clinical review. These are draft suggestions; the treating professional decides what is appropriate.

Private by design

Your conversations never leave your device.

Your device. Your session. Your control.

Therapy recordings, transcripts and generated notes stay on your device. After setup, the app works 100% offline. No internet connection is needed.

  • 01

    Sensitive conversations stay private

There is no upload of therapy audio or session content to a cloud AI service. Recordings, transcripts, mood insights and summary drafts stay together in your local workspace.

  • 02

    Work without an internet connection

Complete the required setup and initial sign-in online. After that, the app works 100% offline, including transcription, speaker detection, mood analysis and summary generation. Cloud sync is disabled in the POC.

  • 03

    Your review remains central

Check speaker assignments, revisit the source conversation and assess every generated observation. Mood signals and treatment drafts support professional judgement.

A session, step by step

Capture. Understand. Review.

  1. 01

    Set up the session

Choose the patient, record or import audio, and keep the session type and duration together with your notes.

  2. 02

    Read the conversation

Review the English transcript and speaker labels. Search for a phrase or revisit the patient’s words before moving on.

  3. 03

    Look across the session

Explore the mood breakdown and timeline, then generate a structured summary with suggested follow-up work.

  4. 04

    Apply clinical judgement

Check the generated draft, add your own notes and decide the next steps. Keep the session available in the patient record or archive it.

Where the POC stands

An early product, with a defined scope.

What’s planned

What we plan to build next.

These capabilities are planned for future versions. The current POC supports English and keeps session work local. Development timing and availability will be shared as the product progresses.

Planned

Your device

Encrypt before sending

Your storage

Encrypted copies only

Authorised device

Decrypt with your keys

Keys stay on your devices

Optional, secure sync

Sync will be entirely optional. Keep working locally and offline, or choose a secure online sync service with end to end encryption for access across your authorised devices.

Bring your own storage, such as Google Drive, Dropbox or another supported service. These providers will store encrypted copies, without access to the readable session content.

Encrypted on your device too

Encrypt local session data at rest, so stored records stay protected while the workspace is locked. Unlock with a password or supported fingerprint or facial recognition options, including Face ID where available. Biometric options will depend on your device and operating system. This local protection is planned alongside optional, secure encrypted sync.

What end to end encryption means

Your device encrypts session content before it leaves. Only your authorised devices hold the keys to read it again. The sync service and storage provider receive encrypted files, so they cannot read the recordings, transcripts, notes or generated content. Choosing sync will not mean giving those services access to your therapy conversations.

Planned

Search in your own words

Fast search using everyday language, such as “Find sessions where we discussed sleep.” Look across conversations, summaries and your notes without remembering an exact phrase or filename. Results will take you back to the relevant session and source material for review.

Private chat about a session

An optional AI conversation that runs on your device. Ask questions about a session, explore its themes and weigh possible next steps alongside the transcript and your notes. The chat will support your reasoning; the therapist will make the decisions and review any suggestions.

Planned

Your corrections

Local learning

Better drafts

You approve what it learns

Your edits, your clinical record

Review and locally override any generated transcript, mood interpretation, summary or treatment suggestion. Add your own observations and attach notes to the session. Your reviewed version will remain the authoritative record, with the original conversation available for context.

Learn from your corrections

Local learning from your approved edits and preferences, so future drafts improve as you use the workspace. It will adapt to how you document sessions, organise notes and review content. Learning will stay on your device, with changes visible to you and clinical decisions under your control.

Planned

English today

  • Spanish
  • Portuguese
  • German
  • French
  • And more

More regional languages

Expand the app beyond English to languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, German and French, with more regional languages to follow. The aim is to support therapy conversations and session work in the language people use. English remains the only app language in the current POC.

The current POC supports English only. This website is translated for readers, but those translations do not add languages to the desktop app.

A few questions

Before you explore.

What the POC supports today, and what its generated content means for clinical work.

Is Psynera the final product name?

Psynera is an internal codename for the proof of concept. The public product name may be different when it moves beyond this stage.

Which languages does the app support?

The current POC supports English only. This website is translated for readers, but those translations do not add languages to the desktop app.

Can I use the app completely offline?

Yes. Once the required setup and initial sign-in are complete, the app works 100% offline without internet. Therapy recordings, transcripts, mood analysis and generated summaries remain on the device. Cloud sync is disabled in the POC.

Are the mood insights and suggestions clinical decisions?

They are generated aids for review. A mood chart is an interpretation of speech, and summaries or treatment suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect. The treating professional reviews the source conversation and makes clinical decisions.

Will I need to use online sync?

No. The planned online sync service will be optional and secure, with end to end encryption. You will still be able to work locally and offline. If you choose to sync, your storage provider will receive encrypted files rather than readable session content. Sync and local encrypted storage are future plans; cloud sync is disabled in the current POC.

Can I download a public release?

Psynera is still in the POC stage. Contact us to discuss evaluation, platform availability and the current build rather than a public release.
